ABOUT THE ROLE
Our Catering & Hospitality Assistants are vital in providing a high quality service for our users and staff to make sure that meal times run smoothly and everyone is fuelled up for their active days.  They are responsible for offering excellent customer service and hospitality, whilst maintaining the highest standards of health, safety and hygiene.

HOURS, PAY & BENEFITS
• 37 hours per week.
• Some early morning, early evening and weekend work on a shift rota basis. A typical shift is 07.00-15.00 or 11.30-19.30, but this can vary depending on business needs. Generally, no split shifts.
• Starting salary £16,626 (hourly rate £8.62) rising up to £16,863 (hourly rate £8.74) based on performance.
• 23 days paid annual leave plus bank holidays in lieu, increasing with long service.

• We also offer reduced price access to Centre activities and courses for you and your family.

ABOUT YOU
We are looking for a dedicated and motivated individual who is committed to delivering the best service to our customers and staff – a smile and a sense of humour is a must! We will be looking for the following in our ideal candidate:

• Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (training can be given).
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to communicate well with both adults and children.
• Ability to work both in a team and on one’s own initiative.
• Good personal hygiene and well presented.
• Willingness to learn new skills.

+Outdoor Instructor

ABOUT THE ROLE
Are you looking for a new challenge? Do you want to pass on your passion for the Outdoors? Do you want to work in a rewarding environment focussed on the development of yourself and others?

Come and join us for the rest of the season with contracts running until middle/late November and full season contracts on offer from the beginning of February 2019.

Our Instructors are responsible for providing high quality outdoor learning experiences to our customers, whilst ensuring the safety of all participants. This will involve delivering a range of land and water based activities, as well as ensuring all parts of the customer visit run smoothly. You may also be required to be on-call overnight on occasions.

– a smile and a sense of humour are a must! We will be looking for the following in our ideal candidate:
• A passion for outdoor learning.
• At least one of the following Instructor qualifications: RYA Dinghy Sailing Instructor, RYA Start Windsurfing Instructor, BC/UKCC Level 1 Canoe/Kayak Coach, Single Pitch Award or Climbing Wall Award.
• Valid First Aid qualification.
• The ability to provide safe, purposeful and fun sessions that meet the needs of our clients.
• Able and confident to communicate well with both adults and children.

+Trainee Instructor

Our Trainee Instructors complete a 12 month contract in which they have the opportunity to:
• Get paid to train to be a qualified Outdoor Instructor!
• Shadow and learn from qualified and experienced instructors
• Receive training in a wide range of outdoor activities
• Complete National Governing Body qualifications in a range of activities such as Sailing, Paddling, Climbing, Powerboating and Windsurfing.
• Use Centre equipment and facilities free of charge to practice
• Lead activity sessions once competent and confident to do so.

HOURS, PAY & BENEFITS
• 37 hours per week. Some evening and weekend work will be required.
• Pay of £430 per month. Accommodation and meals included in your package.
• Generous allowance to complete external training and qualifications.
• 23 days paid annual leave plus bank holidays in lieu.
